Terms and Conditions

Featherly is designed to be a helpful and practical space for support workers. These Terms are here to make things clear and keep the platform safe for everyone. They're written in plain language, and by using Featherly, you agree to them.

1. Who we are

Featherly grew out of the team behind Found, and is operated by Found Enterprises Pty Ltd (ABN 81 677 888 881).

When we say "we", "us" or "our", we mean Found Enterprises Pty Ltd.

When we say "you", we mean anyone accessing or using Featherly.

2. What Featherly is

Featherly is a platform designed to support people working (or interested in working) in the disability support sector. It provides:

  • articles and practical guidance
  • shared experiences from the disability community and other workers
  • ideas, scenarios and reflections from real support work situations
  • optional pathways to job opportunities (now or in the future)

Featherly is intended to be a supportive and practical space for workers to learn and reflect.

3. What Featherly is not

Featherly:

  • does not provide medical, clinical or therapeutic advice
  • is not a substitute for formal training, supervision or professional guidance
  • does not guarantee job opportunities, employment outcomes or career progression
  • is not responsible for any working relationship between a worker and a provider

Any decisions you make in your work remain your responsibility.

4. Using Featherly

You agree to use Featherly in a way that is:

  • respectful
  • lawful
  • considerate of others

You must not:

  • share identifying information about people you support
  • post or share harmful, abusive or discriminatory content
  • misuse the platform or attempt to disrupt it

5. Content and guidance

All content on Featherly is intended to:

  • support reflection
  • provide ideas and perspectives
  • help you feel more confident in your role

It is not intended to prescribe a single "right way" to act. Different situations, people and environments require different approaches.

6. Community and shared experiences

If you share experiences or content on Featherly:

  • you are responsible for what you share
  • you must not include personal or identifiable participant information

We may review content before it is published to help keep Featherly a safe and supportive space. We'll decide what feels suitable for the platform, and may choose to approve, decline or remove content at our discretion.

7. Jobs and opportunities

Featherly may include or link to job opportunities. We:

  • do not guarantee the accuracy of job listings
  • are not involved in employment agreements
  • are not responsible for outcomes between workers and employers

You are responsible for assessing any opportunity.

8. Accounts (if applicable)

If you create an account, you agree to:

  • provide accurate information
  • keep your login details secure

9. Privacy

We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of Featherly
  • we are not responsible for decisions you make based on content
  • we are not responsible for interactions between users

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Continued use of Featherly means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
